Are we evolving?

We are a bunch of people living in an archaic world with somewhat similar mindset but not accepting the basic truth-we have stopped evolving.

I know there can be a lot of “nahs” around if i say that we haven’t really invented something huge for a very long time. We are progressing, yes. But hasn’t the speed totally slowed down. 

Imagine the time when Edison had invented the Light Bulb, Imagine the revolution that thing must have buzzed. Or when the right brothers came out with a flying machine. We are talking about a lot of decades ago.Can you imagine? We are improvising things, and that too at a regular basis. But we are humans, mortal beings with frontal cortex and hence the responsibility of advancing the world comes to us. 

The discoveries can be categorised in two-disruption and betterment. What a majority of inventions that are happening these days are betterment. A bigger question than arises is why do disruptions not happening these days? 

The answer to this question tracks down to the childhood, the schooling that we are currently following. And are we following good? i doubt. Your child is intelligent and we all know this. Then why shouldn’t we give the best that we can to our children so that they create the disruptions like Einstein,Newton,Galileo did.

Isn’t it a simple truth that we all know, but never realised, that we can name the scientists and researchers of olden times but not much more new. Yes true we have Gates,Jobs,Musk and sorts,But the number is still unmatchable to what it was earlier.

I am not saying that we are not advancing. We are. And truly we are. But to Evolve, we need disruptions. True Disruptions.
